Meet our wonderful Rm 28 class of Year 3. We have made a great start to the year with lots of new routines and learning. We welcomed 2 new students, Nazarene and Hrishita, who joined our class in Week 2 and are settling in very well. We have another new student, Te Rina, starting in Week 3 whom we look forward to joining our whanau.

Health Topic - Road Safety
We're currently learning all about being safe on the roads. Here are a few tips children are learning in their classroom.
How to stay safe when walking
- Use pedestrian crossings or cross at traffic signals.
- Stop and check at every driveway.
- Walk on the footpath, close to the houses and away from the road.
- Hold hands if walking with a young child near roads or in carparks.

Later in the term we will be learning all about Colonial New Zealand. We can't wait as we have a trip to the Howick Historical Village this term in Week 5 to kick it all off. Watch this space!
